Commercial Buildings We Roof
Foster Roofing takes on commercial buildings of many kinds. We work with metal roofs, steep slope, and low-slope systems, and these are the buildings we roof:
- Office buildings
- Retail centers, shops and restaurants with sloped roofs
- Warehouses and industrial facilities
- Multifamily buildings
- Churches
- Agricultural buildings, such as barns, poultry houses and equipment sheds, which typically have metal roofs
Whether you manage a single building or several commercial properties, the same local team is ready to help.
Commercial Roof Repair
A roof leak is stressful for any business, because water inside the building can stop work. Therefore, our first job is to find the cause. Here is how Foster Roofing handles a commercial roof repair:
- Drone inspection. First, we use a drone and high-resolution imagery to diagnose the problem.
- Repairs with minimal disruption. Then our crews make the repair with minimal disruption to your operations.
- Emergency response during business hours. We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. When you call or fill out the form, tell us how bad the leak is.
- Temporary roof protection (tarping) until the repair is done.
- One direct contact. Meanwhile, your project manager is your direct contact through the job.
Leaks are quicker, easier and cheaper to fix while they are small. So if you see signs of a leak, do not wait until a little problem becomes a big one.

Commercial Roof Replacement and Installation
Sometimes a repair is no longer enough. In that case, Foster Roofing replaces the roof, and we also install new commercial roofs. Either way, here is what you can expect:
- A roof matched to your building and budget. Our estimators help you choose the right roof system and materials.
- A Commercial license with an unlimited bid limit. Foster Roofing holds Arkansas Commercial contractor’s license 0156360427. The license covers roofing, roof decks, roofing sheet metal and insulation.
- Our own crews. Trained Foster Roofing crews do the work, not subcontractors.
- One project manager. As a result, you always know who to call, from the first day to the last.
- Minimal disruption and a clean site. We plan the replacement for minimal disruption to your operations, and our crews clean up before they leave.
Drone Roof Inspections for Commercial Buildings
Commercial roofs can be high, steep or hazardous to walk. So instead of sending someone up, Foster Roofing inspects them with a drone. For you, that means:
- A detailed look at the whole roof. High-resolution cameras capture photos and video of your roof’s condition.
- Problems found early. In addition, the imagery helps us identify leaks, damage, and wear and tear.
- Less risk. Nobody has to climb onto a roof that may be hazardous.
- An accurate quote. Because we can see what is up there, we can recommend the right fix and quote it accurately.

Commercial Roofing Materials
Foster Roofing is certified and authorized by major roofing product manufacturers. We install three kinds of roof systems on commercial buildings, and your estimator will explain which one fits yours.

Asphalt shingles
Asphalt shingles are used on some commercial buildings. In addition, impact-resistant shingle products are designed to resist damage from hail and high wind.

Metal roofing
For years, metal has been the go-to roof covering for commercial and industrial buildings because of its reliability. Although a new metal roof may cost more than some other products, it is a smart investment.

Specialty roof systems
Specialty systems include wood, clay tile, slate and stone-coated steel. If you are considering one, Foster Roofing will help you decide on the right fit for your building and your budget.
Please note that Foster Roofing does not work on flat roof systems.
What Affects the Cost of a Commercial Roof
A new roof is a big purchase for any business, so of course you want to know what it will cost. However, every building is different. In short, the price comes down to five things:
- Roof size. A bigger roof takes more material and more labor.
- Materials. Asphalt shingles, metal and specialty systems each cost a different amount, and metal costs more up front.
- Slope. Similarly, a steeper roof takes more time, because the crew has to work carefully and safely.
- Removing the old roof. First, the existing roof comes off. After that, the new one goes on.
- Damaged decking. We replace any damaged decking underneath, so your new roof has a solid base.
Your inspection and quote are free, and drone imagery of your roof helps us quote it accurately. If a storm caused the damage, your insurance may cover some or all of it. Otherwise, Foster Roofing accepts cash, check and credit cards, and card payments carry a 3% processing fee.

Our Commercial Roofing Process
- Tell us about your building. To start, fill out the form or call the office nearest you. We reply to online requests within 1 to 2 business days.
- Free roof inspection. Next, we inspect the roof, and a drone captures photos and video of its condition.
- A written quote. Then your estimator explains what we found, recommends a roof system, and gives you a written quote.
- The work, by our own crews. You will know our crew by the Foster Roofing trucks and shirts. Meanwhile, your project manager is your direct contact.
- Cleanup. Finally, our crews clean up the site before they leave.
Storm and Hail Damage on Commercial Roofs
When hail or high wind damages a commercial building, Foster Roofing can help. Our employees are trained to recognize and assess storm damage. In addition, Foster Roofing is a preferred contractor for most major insurance carriers.
If your insurance may cover the damage, here is how the claim works:
- You submit the claim. As the property owner, you send your own documentation to your insurance agent.
- We give you the documentation. Foster Roofing provides everything you need, from the inspection through the estimate.
- We meet the adjuster when schedules allow. Then we walk through what we found on the roof.
- We work with your insurance company to make sure the payout is correct.

How much does a commercial roof cost?
It depends on the size of the roof, the materials you choose, how steep the roof is, whether the old roof has to come off, and whether any decking needs replacing. Because every building is different, Foster Roofing starts with a free inspection and quote, and drone imagery of your roof helps us quote it accurately.

In addition, we roof office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, industrial facilities, multifamily buildings, churches and agricultural buildings.
How do I choose a commercial roofing contractor?
Start with what you can check yourself. First, confirm a current Arkansas contractor’s license and insurance. Foster Roofing uses its own crews, not subcontractors.
